I founded it. A team runs it.
Imoye Academy is my way of giving back to the continent that helped make me. I kick off each new cohort. Then my graduates take over.
Founded, then handed to a team
I founded Imoye Academy to teach sales and technology sales to African professionals, live and in cohorts. A staff runs the academy day to day. I am brought in as a guest lecturer.
Built to run without me
When Imoye opens in a new country, I teach the first cohort. Then a student I have coached, who has graduated, takes over the lecture. That is how Nigeria works today: my former students lecture full time. Corporate training follows the same pattern. I run the first program, and graduates lead the rest.
What it has produced
- 2 cohorts completedIn Nigeria, with a third starting in January.
- 20 of 40 studentsWere working in sales roles three months after graduating. Others have started their own businesses.
- 15 full-time staffRun Imoye across Nigeria and Rwanda. 6 of them are former graduates.
Rwanda
Imoye’s first cohort in Rwanda starts in February 2027, through a partnership with Jobra. I will guest lecture the inaugural class remotely, and a graduate I have coached will take it from there.
Why I keep teaching
Every launch is live practice. I test methods on new sellers, coach in real time, and answer hard questions from people who have to use the answer on Monday. It keeps my own skills sharp, and it is the same work I do leading revenue teams.
Corporate programs
Imoye also runs sales training programs for companies.
